Does DialogLoop Toast Club support Toastmasters evaluation forms?

Yes. DialogLoop Toast Club supports Toastmasters evaluation forms and lets clubs select forms based on the speaker’s Pathways project. The DialogLoop Toast Club page lists supported forms in English, French, German, and Spanish.
 

Does DialogLoop Toast Club support Pathways evaluations?

Yes. Speakers can be evaluated using the form that matches their Pathways project, level, and language.
 

Can all members evaluate a speaker, not only the assigned evaluator?

Yes. DialogLoop Toast Club allows the audience to evaluate speeches using the same type of evaluation form. This helps speakers receive more feedback and helps members become more comfortable with the evaluation process.
 

Does the official speech evaluator use DialogLoop Toast Club, too?

DialogLoop Toast Club is designed to collect additional feedback from audience members, not to replace the official evaluator’s work. The official speech evaluator should prepare their evaluation separately, using their preferred note-taking method. This role requires more time, focus, structure, and depth than a quick audience evaluation. DialogLoop Toast Club complements the official evaluation by giving the speaker more feedback from the audience.

Are evaluations anonymous?

Yes. Feedback and evaluations are anonymous. Names and photos imported in DialogLoop Toast Club are used only to identify speakers on forms during the meeting, and no link can be made between member profile card content and votes or evaluations.
 

Who can see the feedback?

Feedback and evaluations are visible only to the evaluated member and the host. The host can also send the member a link to their feedback and evaluations in one click.
 

Can results be quantified?

Yes. Star-based evaluations can be displayed as bar charts and average grades by criterion, helping speakers quickly understand strengths and improvement areas.
 

Voting

Can DialogLoop Toast Club manage club votes?

Yes. DialogLoop Toast Club can support votes such as Best Speaker, Best Evaluator, Best Table Topics, and other Toastmasters-style meeting votes.
 

Can members use the same QR code for evaluations and votes?

Yes. DialogLoop Toast Club is designed to simplify access with one QR-code-based experience for members during the meeting.
 

Does DialogLoop Toast Club replace paper voting ballots?

It can. Clubs can use DialogLoop Toast Club to reduce or replace paper ballots for meeting votes, depending on the club’s preferences and process.

Does DialogLoop Toast Club work with FreeToastHost?

Yes. FreeToastHost users can create a DialogLoop session for each meeting, paste the meeting agenda, paste the attendee list, and let DialogLoop auto-generate feedback and evaluation forms.
 

Can a club use DialogLoop Toast Club without easySPEAK or FreeToastHost?

Yes. DialogLoop Toast Club also works without club management software. Clubs can manually create a meeting, paste the agenda, paste the attendee list, and generate the evaluation and voting forms.
 

Can DialogLoop Toast Club display the meeting agenda?

Yes. The meeting agenda can appear on the DialogLoop Meeting Landing Page, making it easier for members to access the meeting structure and the correct forms.
 

Can member profiles be reused?

Yes. Clubs can build and reuse member profile cards. DialogLoop can remember customized member names and photos for future meetings, making meeting creation easy and super fast.
 

Member Experience

Do members need to install an app?

No. Members can participate from a digital device through a QR code or web link. No dedicated app installation is required. However, the DialogLoop app is also available for free on iOS and Android. It simplifies the attendee experience by requiring them to scan the QR code only once for the entire meeting.

Can guests participate?

Yes, depending on how the club chooses to configure the session. Guests can be included when the club wants them to provide feedback or vote. To add a guest, the host simply enters the guest’s name into the database and selects that name for the relevant activity.

Does DialogLoop Toast Club work for online and hybrid meetings?

Yes. DialogLoop Toast Club can be used for in-person, online, and hybrid Toastmasters meetings, because members participate from their own device.
 

Does DialogLoop Toast Club help new members learn how to evaluate?

Yes. A club can run evaluations in several languages during the same meeting. For example, Speech 1 can be evaluated in English, while Speech 2 can be evaluated in French, German, or Spanish.

This is especially useful for bilingual or multilingual clubs, international clubs, and clubs where speakers practice in different languages. DialogLoop Toast Club gives clubs the flexibility to adapt the evaluation language to each speaker and each speech.

Yes. DialogLoop Toast Club integrates with easySPEAK to simplify the preparation of Toastmasters meetings. DialogLoop can automatically find the meetings created in easySPEAK, import the meeting agenda, import the attendee list, display the agenda on the DialogLoop Meeting Landing Page, and auto-generate the relevant feedback and evaluation forms.

How does the easySPEAK integration work?

With easySPEAK’s agreement, DialogLoop retrieves the relevant meeting data from easySPEAK’s server and imports it into the DialogLoop session. The data is imported into DialogLoop; it is not continuously linked back to easySPEAK after import.

What data can DialogLoop import from easySPEAK?

DialogLoop can import the list of meetings, the meeting agenda, and the list of attendees from easySPEAK. Based on this information, DialogLoop can then auto-generate the feedback and evaluation forms needed for the meeting.

Does using easySPEAK reduce the setup work in DialogLoop?

Yes. The more complete and accurate the meeting data is in easySPEAK, the less work is required in DialogLoop. If the agenda, roles, attendees, and speaker information are already correct in easySPEAK, the host will usually have fewer adjustments to make after importing the data into DialogLoop.

What happens if some easySPEAK data is incomplete or incorrect?

The host can adjust the imported data in DialogLoop before running the meeting. If some information is missing or inaccurate in easySPEAK, it may need to be corrected manually in DialogLoop after import.

Privacy and Security

Is DialogLoop Toast Club anonymous?

Yes. On the DialogLoop Toast Club platform, users are truly anonymous. No link can be made between a user profile card and votes or evaluations, unless the user chooses to add their name to the evaluation form.
 

Does DialogLoop resell user data?

No. DialogLoop does not resell user data or use it for advertising purposes.

Is DialogLoop GDPR compliant?

DialogLoop is GDPR compliant and uses a secure, encrypted database.
 

Who is responsible for member photos?

The collection and use of member photos is the responsibility of the Club Manager, and members authorization is required.
